Comfort at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital is a concern of the Society, which
provides comfortable seating in the Radiotherapy reception, provides fans,
fridges, plants, pictures, magazines etc. A refreshment service (RT Dept),
provides hot drinks, cold juices and biscuits for those who have missed
breakfast or are late for lunch. There is a tape deck to provide music in
the Cobalt Unit and in the ward there are TVs for both ladies and gents
sections, a microwave and a hairdryer, a comfort cupboard containing toiletries,
stationery etc. |
